Wildlife Removal & Exclusion
At Rapid Wildlife Removal, we don't just remove animals — we seal your home so they can't come back. Wildlife exclusion is the process of identifying and permanently closing every entry point that animals use to access your home. Without proper exclusion, trapping is a temporary fix at best — new animals will find the same vulnerabilities and move right in.
Our Exclusion Process
- Comprehensive roof-level inspection — our technicians inspect from harnesses on the roof, checking every inch of the roofline, soffits, gable vents, fascia, and flashing
- Entry point documentation — every active and potential entry point is identified and documented before work begins
- Animal-proof sealing — we use professional-grade materials appropriate to the species: heavy-gauge hardware cloth for raccoons, steel wool and metal flashing for rodents, screening for bats
- Wildlife entry point repair — damaged fascia, soffit, gable vents, and roofing are repaired to restore your home's exterior while preventing re-entry
- Monitoring — we verify that excluded animals have fully vacated before completing final seals
Why Exclusion Is Worth the Investment
Exclusion is the only permanent solution to wildlife intrusion. Without it, you'll be calling for trapping services repeatedly as new animals discover the same entry points. A properly excluded home protects you from squirrels, raccoons, bats, rodents, birds, and other wildlife for years to come.
Species-Specific Exclusion
Different animals require different exclusion approaches. Bats can enter through gaps as small as 3/8 inch and require one-way exclusion devices (learn about our bat exclusion process). Squirrels chew through most materials and need metal-reinforced seals. Raccoons can tear open lightweight materials and require heavy-gauge solutions. We tailor our approach to the specific species involved.
